"A Woman Under Construction" is a collection of pieces designed and produced by fashion designer, Chloe Allen.  Her collection encapsulates her experience of surgery and recovery, echoing the sensation of becoming a living statue. Diagnosed at a young age with Chiari Malformation and severe scoliosis, Allen's early years were marked by the constriction of a back brace. Each hand-crafted dress in this collection is an artistic representation of the different phases of her recovery, capturing the interplay between vulnerability and strength that defines her story.
